Dr. Anita graduated from Medical University in India and obtained 5 Gold Medals with top honors, and 9 honor certificates. She obtained her postgraduate degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology from India. She passed the Membership Examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (MRCOG) UK. Subsequently, she is elected as a Fellow of the Royal College in Obstetrics & Gynecology (FRCOG), London.
Dr. Anita has 38 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has special expertise in Obstetrics Ultrasound (3D/4D Ultrasound & Doppler Ultrasound), Fetal Medicine, and Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery. She has attended various training courses in India, UK, and USA in Fetal Medicine and Gynecology Endoscopy (including Diploma course at the International Fetal Medicine Foundation), Obstetric Ultrasound and Gynecological Endoscopic surgery (Stanford University Endoscopy Center). She has done a Diploma course in Cosmetic Gynecology.
She worked at Royal Hospital, Ministry of Health, Muscat from 1987 till 2018. Her main interest is in managing high-risk pregnancies, Medical diseases with pregnancy, screening, and diagnosis of various fetal congenital anomalies and their management.
She has vast experience in performing complicated cesarean sections and has done more than 5000 cesarean deliveries. She is competent & performs all types of General Gynecological Surgical Procedures, Endoscopic Surgery, Cosmetic Gynecological Surgeries, and Gynecological Ultrasound.
She has special unique expertise in minimally invasive surgery like Non-Descent Vaginal Hysterectomy (scarless hysterectomy) causing minimal pain and discomfort.
