Medical laboratory tests play an important role in detection, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients. The department of Laboratory Medicine at Starcare covers the complete range of pathology testing services. As part of a JCI accredited hospital, the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are regularly reviewed and updated as per the guidance and recommendations. All tests are performed by qualified professionals and skilled lab technologists who work under strict quality assurance guidelines. The department is also a part of various external quality control programme. We do liaise with ISO 15189 accredited laboratories for rare investigations requests which are not done locally.
