The Orthopaedic Department at Starcare Hospital is well equipped and caters to all the bone and joint problems. The Department provides advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities in the specialized fields of sports medicine, complete trauma surgery, spinal and paediatric surgery. The team comes from diverse backgrounds, having been trained and experienced in top UK hospitals. The ultra-modern Orthopaedic operation theatres are fitted with the laminar airflow system that keeps them germfree, thus eliminating the risk of infection. It is fully-equipped with the latest computer navigated instruments for precision in complex surgeries. Fracture tables, C-arms, arthroscopes, implants and assorted instruments are imported and conform to the highest international standards. The Orthopaedic Department is backed by dedicated & caring nursing staff & trained physical therapists to diagnose, manage, & treat disorders & injuries of the musculoskeletal system including rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery.
