About Speciality
The Department of Anaesthesiology offers consultation in the comprehensive management of anaesthetic care for surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and provides pre- and post-operative care including pain therapy and critical care. Our anaesthesiologist’s first concern is always patient safety. They work closely with surgeons, obstetricians and other staffs to identify the safest, most effective anaesthesia options for each patient. Communication with patients is the key and often begins before patients have surgery. Our anaesthesia providers emphasize dialogue with patients to clarify their needs, answer their questions and allay any concerns or fears they may have.
